Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm (Delivered Tuesday to Friday)
How quickly will my order be dispatched? All cream tea orders received Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) will be dispatched within 3 working days. Orders placed over the weekend or on a bank holiday will be dispatched no later than the next available third working day.
It's a gift, can I nominate a future delivery date? Yes, at checkout we have the facility for you to include a preferred delivery date and gift message and any other relevant information we might need to know about. Our cream teas are best eaten within 2 days of receipt and a recommended ‘best before date’ is therefore included with your gift.
How is clotted cream kept cool during transit? We leave the cream blast frozen until dispatch, and send it wrapped with an ice pack. This allows the cream to thaw slowly during transit. Upon arrival it should be placed in a refrigerator as soon as possible.
Is clotted cream safe to eat if left at room temperature for a few days? Clotted cream is a very robust product and has quite a long shelf life, but because we can’t guarantee the delivery conditions, we give a much shorter ‘best before date’ of 2 days upon receipt. Sometimes, if delivery can’t be made, the cream will be left overnight at a sorting depot. This is unlikely to affect the cream, but given we cannot guarantee the conditions of transit all orders are at your own risk.
