Louise spread her wings to swap life in a high-powered city role for Louise's Larder in Mid-Devon with her husband John.
The couple launched artisan food maker Louise's Larder in Crediton in January 2015, producing handcrafted jams, cream tea’s and gifts. Less than a year on, the couple are enjoying the fruits of their labours after winning prestigious food awards for Louise's hand-crafted goodies.
Produced by Louise in the kitchen of their cottage home, using traditional methods and the highest quality seasonal produce, they have already won rave reviews from delighted customers and food industry judges. Louise's Larder scooped a Gold Award from Food & Drink Devon for its gingered fig and rhubarb chutney, while its rhubarb, rose and cardamom jam reaped a three-star award in the Great Taste awards, known as the 'Oscars' of the food world.
